Suummer is a woman that has a brain that never stops. She is constantly trying to futher mankind. Her project right how is to make the public aware of healthy living while aging. This is a project not just for California, or the United States, but the whole world. How much more can one person care. If that isn;t LOVE I don't know what is. She has a smile that lights up the room, and a contageous laugh. If she starts laughing everyone in the room will be laughing.
She is working to educate people on "Living Green" and our "Carbon Footprints". So that our children and grandchildren will be able to live healthey.
She has done without what the average person thinks that they have to have to live day to day. She has given her brain, her breath, her life for others. What more could someone do and give. If anyone ever deserved a living rose, It is Summer Jackson.
Check out Viva Choices on line. Summer you are one special person. Love and prayers, Bobbi

My story starts about 13 years ago. I felt a lump in my right breast. I made an appointment and was tested. It was about a week and my husband got the call. The words you never want to hear Cancer. When my husband told me I was not sure what to do. Where do I go where do I start. My husband had already set up appoints with the surgeon, chemo doctor and the radiation doctor. He has been there for everything. He ask all the questions and help me make all the right choices. When he saw I was losing my hair he set me down and shaved may hair for me. He had already picked out the wigs for me. We have been together for almost 29 years. He was with me every step of the way and has been there since. He is my best friend and I do believe it had not for him I may not have come out of this as good as I did. I do believe there was a lot of people praying for me. A lot of people needs support groups i had my husband Bill and that was and has been all the support I have needed. I would like to say thank you to the love of my life and my best friend my husband Bill.

I would like to tell you about a very special person in my life. My Aunt Loretta. If there were ever angels on earth, she would be one. She is someone that gives tiresly of her time, unconditional love, and support. She "became" a mother figure to me, when my mother passed away in my early twenties. When my father needed a heart transplant, she was there with him at every doctors appointment for support. When my grandparents fell ill at different times she was there. Regardless of who the family member is - she was always there with her unconditional love, and faith. She is the strongest woman I know with the biggest heart. The last nine months have been the greatest challenge as her beautiful daughter has sustained a medical injury. My Aunt was at the hospital nearly every day from the beginning of visiting hours till the end. She knew more about her daughter's condition than some of the doctor's and nurses. She tiresly rallied for the best treatment, never giving up hope for a miracle in her recovery. I love my Aunt so much, she is everything to me. I just want her to know that I appreciate, admire, look up to and value my relationship with her. I want her to know how much she means to me and the rest of our family. She is a living angel. Thank you for taking the time to hear my story of a very special lady, my Aunt Loretta.

Today I watched your show about John & Jean Hughey and I was so moved by the way the music community gathered around and lifted up his loving wife. What touched me the most was how comitted and dedicated they were to each other. My husband and I have been together through thick & thin and he is my best friend and true love. We live just outside of Nashville where he has worked in the music industry for over 40 years. My husband has worn just about all the hats that an artist, musician, teacher, author, producer, session player, and yes, tuxedo clad wedding musician can wear...and with as much grace and humility as I've ever seen, he works tirelessly to take care of his family. I've watched him travel the world over bringng joy and entertainment to many people on some great music tours with some of the greatest artists. Behind the scenes of all the glamour and show biz I have witnessed an honest and good man trying to navigate a complicated life and scrap to make a good living. At what might have been the most productive years of his career, I watched him sacrifice his own dreams to care for his elderly mother. To me, he represents the many unknown heros out there who get up each day and selflessly chop wood and carry water to care for their families. At night when the curtain goes down & the show is over, I see him kneeling in prayer and hear him pray for for anyone he knows that is struggling and suffering. With his considerable talent and experience he has taught and promoted young musicians at Belmont University for 29 years. He freely shares his gifts and generously gives wherever he sees need, never asking for anything in return. When many others would run, Roy rolls up his sleeves and gets to work doing what needs to be done. I want to say out loud that I love him, respect him, and honor all that he stands for. We have made a wonderful life in the musc business and are fortunate to be surrounded by the greatest music community in the country. We take of each other and thats the way God meant for it to be. Don't let the sun go down without telling those you love how much they mean to you.
Love,
Dee Dee
